Meet Dee

<p ><span ><strong>We are so grateful to be featuring a giveaway this week from Red Letter Words. Today I would love for you to meet Dee, the artist behind the work. <span ><em>”As a Christian woman, my hope is that my art connects people to the unchanging truth of God’s word and reminds them just how much God loves them. Red Letter Words takes its name from the words spoken by Jesus in the New Testament, which appear printed in red in some editions.</em></span>

<div><em> I was decorating my home and wanted wall art with an “erased chalkboard” look, but it was hard to find. I wanted something modern and casual but with a vintage touch and something that could complement my family photos and help to tell our story. So I decided to make my own art and started giving it away to friends and family for baby showers and birthdays, and as Christmas and wedding presents. I was positively overwhelmed by the response. People were emotionally moved and they asked me to create even more.”</em></div>
<p ><strong>Candy:</strong> “What’s been your favorite stage with your own children? Why?”</p>
<p ><strong>Dee:</strong> “My favorite stage is all of them! – I loved having babies and toddlers was a blast! now I have 2 teenagers and still a 7 and 10 year old – so so fun – and</p>
challenging but in a different way than babies.”
<strong> Candy:</strong> “What family tradition do you think is most precious to you kids?”
<strong>Dee:</strong> “Family tradition – most definitely treating life as an adventure! – but we have lots of traditions and I think each of my kids might answer this differently – except for this one they would all agree on- a family trip to Mexico in March – its always such a fun time!”
