The Five Love Languages of Teenagers

I recently stumbled upon this great resource from Gary Chapman and Focus on the Family. The following info-graphic is from Chapman’s book “The Five Love Languages of Teenagers“. Even when we think we know our teen’s love language, we wonder “what now”? How do we live it out? I just love how simply laid out this flow chart is…love languages, actions to take, how to communicate, and what to avoid.
Often, it just takes a little chart like this to remember how our kids receive love. AND, what a great reminder of how simple it can be. Take your son with you to run errands, sit close to your daughter while watching tv, pick up your son’s favorite snack before he gets home from school, help your daughter get her closet in order. It’s the little things they need on a daily basis. May we never get too busy to live out love!
My love,
