The Word of God stands forever.  Do you crave the Word?  Do you seek time out every day to meditate on the word?  I know that our lives are so busy and rushed, but how important is it to stop? To look? To listen?  We all need just a few quiet moments to be in God’s Word.

I love to have a daily devotional on hand.  I have recently been going through Beth Moore’s Whispers of Hope, and before that I was into Max Lucado’s In a Manger.  There are SO MANY wonderful daily devotional books out there.  I would encourage you to pick one, up.

I want to share with another way to get some time focused on the Word.  Here are a few online resources that I like….Proverbs 31 Women and My Upmost for His Highest...just to name a few!  Again, there are SO MANY great online devotionals out there.

No matter how you get your fill of His Word, make it a priority, make it your delight!  Like Psalm 1 says,

“Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,
but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither–
    whatever they do prospers.”

I don’t know about you, but I want to prosper.  I want to see real Kingdom things in my day…this day.

In the comments below, please share your favorite devotional book or website…I want to know! :)

My love,
