Last week, I talked about looking up.  Today, let’s focus on pressing in…
What does it mean to “press in”?  It’s about worship, intimacy, a real relationship with the Father, entering the throne room…

Psalm 100:1-5
1 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
2 Worship the Lord with gladness;
    come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the Lord is God.
    It is he who made us and we are his;
    we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
    and his courts with praise;
    give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
    his faithfulness continues through all generations.

He inhabits the praises of His people.

How many of us in times of trouble or in times of stress, go to the Lord in praise and worship?  If you will, it will absolutely change your mood.

So, first we are going to choose (in whatever situation we facing), to stop and look up for Him.

Then, we are going to spend time with Him and soak in His presence.

I’m not a singer, for sure…but I put my headphones in and I sing and read the Word and I encourage myself…I remind myself who HE is…and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ask or image!

The Word tells us in Hebrews to come boldly before the throne.  I think it is time that we realize this is a Person we are talking about. Walk right in there and talk to Him and wait for Him to talk back!

Later this week, I’ll be talking with you about Stepping Out!
