Wow, take a look at this documentary hitting theaters May 6th…

Marriage is not a contract…it’s a vow.  Society wants to make light of traditional marriage and focus instead on a world full of individual beings.  But the bible says:

Hebrews 10:24-25 “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as in the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”

Ephesians 5:25-33

“Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church.”

I can tell you from the teens I speak with every day–families are important.  Parents who not only love their kids, but love each other are important.  God created marriage and families for a reason…to bring Him glory!  Let’s decide to stand up to society’s leanings and live our lives selflessly loving and serving each other.  I agree with the precious boy in this film, we need love to live.
