Tate is majoring in Sports & Exercise at West Texas A&M University.  He plans to teach and coach in a high school.  Tate’s favorite verse is Psalm 144:1.  He says he applies this to sports and to life…”God has trained us and is preparing us for whatever may be thrown at us, and when trial comes we will be ready as long as we trust our God.”  I first met Tate while he was in high school.  Tate was an athlete and a leader among his peers.  Tate has such a welcoming spirit and loves friends and lots of them.  I believe in Tate and his ability to leave a mark.  You won’t hear as much from Tate as you will some of the other Lifeguards, but you will gain much from his responses.

I invited Tate to be a Rescue Lifeguard because he will be honest and open about his successes and even about areas he has struggled.  You will be blessed by his candidness.  He is a valuable Lifeguard!
