As we approach the 4th of July, I decided to have my teenage daughter Madi help me, and I also my dear friend Nancy what their 10 most favorite things about America were…Enjoy!
10. Madi – The military and their bravery, I am very thankful for the protection and security they provide.
9. Madi – I am thankful that we have religious freedom.
8. Candy – I am thankful that we have such a rich Christian heritage.
7. Candy – I am thankful for term limits and that we are able to have free elections.
6. Nancy – I am thankful for freedoms to choose–to choose to be a mom, to have more than one child, to work or to be a stay home mom.
5. Nancy – I am thankful for the advanced technology, doctors, and medical advances.
4. Nancy – I am thankful for technological advances that allow us to communicate across many miles since our families are often spread out. Information is wide-spread and easily accessible.
3. Madi – We value children and we teach our children to love themselves and others.
2. Candy – I am thankful that at this moment we are allies with Israel. I believe that God’s Word promises that if we bless Israel, we will be blessed.
1. We are all thankful for the many sacrifices that men, women, and families have made for the good of the nation.
We would love to hear the things you love most about the great USA! Happy 4th of July!
