Jesus in Christmas

Simply, Christmas is only Christmas because of Christ. There are so many ways to celebrate the wonderful season of Christmas. I absolutely love the sights, sounds, and tastes of the holidays. My family and I have so many traditions, it can be difficult to find enough time in the month to get it all in, and I love every moment of it. However, Christ is Christmas, not just a part of it. It is paramount that with each tradition, each gathering whether with friends, children, or family we remember that the true wonder of Christmas is that we have a Savior who first loved us. A King who laid down His Crown and stepped off His Throne to make His grand entrance into a manger to be cared for by a teenage mother and a carpenter. All because He looked into time and saw us. How can we possibly refuse to turn our gaze toward Him?
A few ideas to focus on Jesus during this season…
