I don’t care who you are….this will make your month!!  You’ve got a friend in me.  What a strong, true, and powerful message we should all share with our children.

Tanner, Jake, and Madi,

“You’ve got a friend in me. When the road looks rough ahead and your miles and miles from your nice, warm bed, you got a friend in me. You’ve got troubles and I’ve got ‘em too.  There isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for you. We stick together and see it through, cuz you’ve got a friend in me. Some other folks might be a little smarter than I am, bigger and stronger too.  None of them will ever love you the way I do, it’s me and you.  And as the years go by, our friendship will never die. You’re gonna see it’s our destiny.  You got a friend me.”  (As you three know, it is much more beautiful typed rather than me singing.)
