I have heard it said that siblings will likely be the longest relationship in a person’s lifetime. A recurring theme that has come up in discussion with students is the concept of a “golden child” and the “black sheep.” It is important for us to allow our children to be different. Appreciating the strengths in each of them will help them to appreciate each other as well. When comparisons are made between siblings, it often leads to hurt and wounded relationships.Navigating family relationships can be difficult, but our greatest treasure as well!!
I am praying for you!
