Christmas Fun

My Christmas fun always involves my family. Here are some of our most favored traditions:
Christmas tea–all of the girls in our family invite a friend and we exchange a gift, have great finger foods, and a yummy dessert. We also sample lots of hot teas. We have them dress up or sometimes we have them wear ugly Christmas sweaters just for fun.
The guys in our family have guys-only hunting days and build campfires.
On Black Friday, the girls in our family shop! For 18 years, we have met at “zero dark 30” and have a blast. We aren’t there just for the deals, we are there for the fun of being together!
My annual sister shopping trip is one of my very favorite things! For the past decade, my sister and I have taken a weekend trip together before Christmas. The purpose is not only to make some headway with our Christmas lists, but really it is a much needed break and much needed time together!
I love to do “Christmas at Gigi’s” for my nieces and grands. We eat (because any great Christmas tradition involves food) and make Christmas crafts. AND, it wouldn’t be complete without a dance party!
