I love this! I am standing and cheering in my kitchen this very moment.  “The adult attention span is 1 second lower than that of a goldfish”…how does that translate to your relationship with your children? I agree, let’s put the technology down: Take a walk together, read a book, go sit on the porch with a glass of tea…or better, engage your community. Go to the mall and pay attention to people, pray for those visibly hurting, they aren’t hard to spot. Go to the hospital and pray with those in the waiting rooms or elevators. Volunteer. Disconnecting from technology is one thing. But the Word takes it even a step further, He is asking us to disconnect from ourselves. Lift up your head. Take notice. Life is happening all around us.
